Working in partnership with Halton Borough Council, our community skips are coming to your neighbourhood soon, giving you the perfect opportunity to have a good clear out and dispose of unwanted waste responsibly.

By working together, we can help clear the clutter, keep our communities tidy and create cleaner, greener spaces that we can all be proud of.

Dates, times and locations

Montgomery Estate: Friday 7th August 10am - 3pm

• Car Park at the back of Parbold Court
• Car Park behind MNS Late Shop
• Car Park at the corner of Wavell Avenue and Montgomery Road.

Halton Lodge: Friday 14th August 10am - 3pm

• Open space opposite the Premier Shops car park, near the tree line.
• Parking area on the right-hand side as you enter Fenwick Lane.

What can be accepted

The following items can be placed in the skips:

• Household waste
• Garden waste
• Wood
• Rubble
• Soil

What can't be accepted

Unfortunately, we can't accept the following items, and anyone bringing these items will be turned away:

• Tyres
• Electrical items and white goods
• Asbestos
• Mattresses
• Liquids
• Gas bottles
• Hazardous materials

Important Information

• Skips are likely to fill up quickly and will not be replaced, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
• Do not leave any items on site after 2.30pm. Any waste left behind may be treated as fly-tipping.
• Officers will be on site throughout the event to provide support and guidance.
• A scrap metal collector will be attending both events. Please do not place scrap metal in the skips. Instead, leave metal items beside the skips for collection.
