Colleagues at The Orange Tree Bistro located in our independent living scheme, Barkla Fields in Widnes, are celebrating after receiving a five-star food hygiene rating following a recent unannounced inspection by Halton Borough Council.

This top rating places The Orange Tree Bistro alongside its sister locations, The Olive Tree Bistro at Barkla Fields and 1816 Bistro at Hazlehurst, all of which proudly hold five-star hygiene ratings.

Since opening, The Orange Tree Bistro has become a favorite among both residents and the wider community, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches, and light snacks, all prepared to the highest standards.

The bistro is open to both residents and the public Monday to Friday from 10am – 3pm, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quality meal in a friendly setting.
