Our recent Eurovision-themed Big Fat Quiz events have been a fantastic success, bringing people together across our Independent Living Schemes and raising an incredible £468.13 for the Stroke Association.

Held throughout May, the quizzes created a real buzz, with residents, staff and visitors enjoying a day full of fun, laughter and friendly competition. Each event was brilliantly supported, with teams putting their knowledge to the test while also tucking into delicious homemade bakes — all in aid of a great cause.

The events were perfectly timed to coincide with Stroke Awareness Month, helping to shine a light on the vital work carried out by the Stroke Association. The funds raised will go towards supporting stroke survivors and their families, making a real difference in people’s lives.

Bake sales throughout the quizzes helped to boost fundraising efforts even further, with many embracing the Eurovision spirit — and even dressing the part!
