Our Neighbourhoods team has been actively investigating and responding to reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Ditton area, working in partnership with Cheshire Police.

Concerns were supported by video evidence showing two off-road style electric motorbikes being ridden on public roads and in close proximity to local schools.

On Thursday 11 June, the Neighbourhood Officer and Neighbourhood Safety Team for Ditton, alongside officers from the Widnes Police Beat Team, attended an address on Graham Road where both motorbikes were located and identified. Widnes Police subsequently seized the bikes under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act. The vehicles will now be destroyed.

This action forms part of Cheshire Police’s ongoing work under Operation Handlebars. We will continue to work in partnership to identify offences, share intelligence, and take action to protect our communities from the dangers associated with illegal motorbike use.

We encourage all residents to continue reporting anti-social behaviour so that joint action can be taken swiftly.

You can find more information and details on how to report ASB here.
