New Video Highlights Adult Learning Opportunities Across Halton
We're helping more residents discover the benefits of adult learning through a new promotional video funded by our Destination Kingsway/Stewards Programme.
We provided £800 of Destination Kingsway Stewards funding to commission local creative organisation Mako Create/Digital Arts Box to produce the video, which showcases the wide range of learning opportunities available through Halton Adult Learning.
The video gives residents a closer look at the supportive environment at Kingsway Learning Centre and highlights how adult learning can help people gain new skills, improve confidence and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Halton Adult Learning offers a range of courses, including English, maths, digital skills, employability support, wellbeing programmes and vocational training. There are also professional development opportunities for residents looking to progress in their careers.
Featuring real learners and tutors, the video shares inspiring stories from local people who have benefited from adult learning. For some, it has helped them gain qualifications or secure employment, while others have used it to change career paths, build confidence or meet new people.
The project forms part of our wider Destination Kingsway/Stewards Programme, which supports activities that promote Kingsway Learning Centre as a welcoming community hub and encourages more residents to access the services and opportunities available there.
By funding projects like this, Halton Housing is helping to raise awareness of local opportunities, support lifelong learning and strengthen community connections across the borough.
