Last week, as part of our Spruce Up Your Streets initiative, we brought the community together to help freshen up and brighten Runcorn Old Town.

We were joined by Patrick and Elliot from Legacie (contractors working on Mercia Place), local volunteer Chris, and an amazing team of 35 children from All Saints Primary School - all determined to make a difference to their neighbourhood.

Together, we collected 11 bags of litter, helping make the area cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone.

“It was brilliant to see so many people getting envolved, especially the children!” said Amy, our Social Impact and Engagement Officer. “Their enthusiasm really showed how much they care about where they live.”

Our Spruce Up Your Streets events are all about working together with residents, partners and local organisations to tackle litter, brighten up shared spaces and take pride in our communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy - your efforts really help keep our neighbourhoods looking their best!
