As part of our three-year sustainability roadmap, we needed to understand our carbon impact via a recognised assessment methodology. We began with a SHIFT assessment and received a silver accreditation including deep insight from which to develop our environmental and sustainability strategy.

Ever wondered why we leave certain areas of grass long? 

Hear from Christine Walker, Head of Environmental Services about what we're doing to help offset the decline of flying insects by leaving areas of grass to grow long in our neighbourhoods - providing a place for them to live and breathe, which in turn is attracting wildlife.

Every small step is part of a bigger picture in our efforts towards sustainability and our green agenda. It also supports our OD3 objectives around 'Places to be Proud of.'
