We are pleased to announce that Halton Haven Hospice has been chosen as our nominated charity for the year ahead, until 2026. This decision follows a company-wide vote, where we invited all employees to nominate and vote for a charity to support through various fundraising activities. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and improving people's lives.

At a recent company-wide event in April, our Group Chief Executive Sam Scott proudly revealed that Halton Haven Hospice received the most votes and would be the focus of our charitable efforts for the upcoming year.

Sam Scott said: "Thank you to everyone who voted. All the nominated charities are incredibly deserving of our support, and while we would love to support them all, Halton Haven Hospice will be our chosen charity for 2025-26. We encourage all colleagues to get behind this cause and commit to fundraising as much as possible throughout the year."

Halton Haven Hospice provides specialist end-of-life care for individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, while also supporting their families. Their motto, "We can’t add days to life, but we can add life to days," reflects their dedication to making every day count, and ensuring that people can make meaningful choices with their families during their final journey. Many of our colleagues have a personal and emotional connection with Halton Haven Hospice through personal experiences.

We have a long-standing partnership with Halton Haven. In 2021, we donated £5,000 following the successful completion of a colleague virtual trek to Halton’s namesake in Australia. Last year, we proudly sponsored Halton Haven’s Twilight Walk.

We have launched a joint Just Giving page, to track how much has collectively been raised through our fundraising initiatives as the year progresses.
