Our Customer Engagement Team is excited to announce the first meeting of a new Tenants and Residents Association (TARA) for Upton, following requests from several residents, and local residents are encouraged to join.

The TARA will be launched as part of the Destination Upton programme with an introductory meeting to be held on Tuesday 28th November, 6:00-7:30pm at Upton Community Centre.

The new group aims to provide a regular meeting place for residents to meet with Upton Ward Councillors, Halton Housing colleagues, and the local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). By working together to represent the views of tenants and residents in the area, it will aim to improve housing and environmental standards in Upton and foster a sense of community.

This meeting is open to any Upton residents over the age of 18, and is not Halton Housing-specific. This initial meeting will also agree on how often, when and where public meetings are held.
