Successful Upgrade of Door Access Systems Across Our Blocks and Schemes

We have successfully completed a major digital transformation project, upgrading door access systems across our flatted blocks and schemes.
In response to the sector-wide shift towards digital infrastructure, we recognised the urgent need to replace legacy door access systems that relied on outdated 2G and 3G networks. With network providers phasing out support for these technologies, several of our blocks had begun to experience reduced reliability, posing a risk to consistent customer access and service quality.
Thanks to strong support from across the organisation, we successfully upgraded all flatted blocks and schemes to 4G/5G-enabled systems during 2024/25, implementing the new cloud-based KMS CAME door entry system.
This upgrade means that we can:
- Maintain reliable service and connectivity for customers.
- Strengthen security through advanced encryption and real-time system monitoring.
- Futureproof our infrastructure for integration with emerging smart technologies.
- Minimise the long-term risk of failure and ensure system resilience.
This investment marks a key milestone in our digital transformation journey and reinforces our commitment to providing safe and secure homes for our customers.
Special thanks to all our colleagues involved in supporting this seamless transition for our customers.
