Supporting Halton Haven Hospice: Together, We're Making a Difference

At Halton Housing, we’re proud to continue supporting Halton Haven Hospice, our nominated Charity of the Year, and the incredible work they do for people and families across our community.
From bake sales and colleague fundraisers to the recent abseil at Liverpool Cathedral, our teams have been going above and beyond to raise vital funds for this much-loved local charity. Every pound raised helps Halton Haven Hospice continue to provide compassionate care and support to those who need it most.
But the fundraising doesn’t stop there…
On Saturday 26th July, another of our colleagues, Richard, a Joiner at Halton Housing, will be taking on an extraordinary challenge - the Lakeland 50. Known as one of the most demanding ultra-trail events in Europe (and arguably the world!), the Lakeland 50 is a 50-mile endurance race through the rugged terrain of the Lake District.
Richard is lacing up his trail shoes and pushing himself to the limit - all to raise money for Halton Haven Hospice. His determination and commitment are a true reflection of the spirit we see across our teams every day.
“It’s a huge challenge, but knowing it’s for such an important cause makes every mile worth it,” Richard said.
We’re incredibly proud of Richard and all our colleagues who have taken part in fundraising activities so far this year.
We’re looking forward to sharing more updates, and celebrating the total amount raised later this year. In the meantime, we’re sure you’ll join us in wishing Richard the very best of luck for his epic challenge!
