A three-month Closure Order was granted at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11th June for a property in the Hough Green area. The action follows a year of serious and persistent anti-social behaviour linked to the address.

The order, secured in partnership with Cheshire Police, marks the culmination of months of work led by our Neighbourhood Safety team in response to repeated complaints from residents. The property had become a hotspot for disruptive behaviour, with the tenant and frequent visitors causing significant distress to the community.

Laura Davies, Neighbourhood Manage said: “Residents came to us with their concerns — we listened, and we acted. This Closure Order will give them the peace and quiet they deserve. We would like to express a massive thank you for the courage and cooperation of residents who played a key role in gathering evidence and supporting the case.”

The Closure Order prohibits anyone from entering the property for the duration of the three months, effectively halting the cycle of nuisance and allowing the neighbourhood to recover.
