We’re proud to support the fifth national Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week, an initiative led by Resolve ASB.

Taking place from 30 June – 6 July 2025, this nationwide campaign aims to raise awareness about anti-social behaviour and highlight effective ways to tackle it in our communities.

The theme for this year’s campaign is #MakingCommunitiesSafer, with a focus on four key priorities:

  1. Guaranteed support for victims of ASB
  2. Resolving delays in the justice system
  3. A single, national information sharing agreement
  4. Making it easier to report ASB

Did you know? A significant portion of ASB is caused by adults—not young people. In fact, young people often gather in groups or wear hoods to feel safe, not to cause harm (Resolve, 2023).

Throughout the week, we’ll be supporting a range of activities and initiatives alongside our partners.

We'll also be hosting two fly-tipping events during the week.

Fly-tipping Event at Kingsway Backs

Date: Monday 30th June

Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm

Fly-tipping Event at Russell Road

Date: Tuesday 1st July

Time: 8:45am – 10:00am

Thriving Communities is one of the 5 key themes in our 3-year corporate plan Our Future Focus: 2025 - 28 and supporting ASB Awareness Week will help us achieve our purpose of Improving People’s Lives.
