Photography and Video Consent Form

Who we are:  

Halton Housing is a registered provider of social housing, or housing association. We are regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing.  

Halton Housing is a data controller of your personal data. This means we are responsible for collecting and using information about you.  

About this Notice:  

This Notice lets you know how we use any photographs of you or your child/children that you give consent for us to use.  

We may change this privacy notice from time to time in order to reflect changes in the law and/or our privacy practices. 

The information we use and what we use it for: 

We would like to use a photograph/video of you and/or your child/children, captured by the named person on this consent form , on behalf of Halton Housing, at an event or photo shoot. (examples of where your photograph/ video could be used include: our social media channels, website, leaflets, annual reports, display material or publicity).  

Once an image is published on a website (i.e. in the public domain), Halton Housing cannot be responsible for any third party use or reproduction of that image.  

We may also use a photography/ video of you for internal purposes within Halton Housing. (examples of where your photograph/ video could be used include: our intranet or for the purpose of recruitment through the recording of exercises as part of our interview process).  

We will only use these photographs/video where we have your consent to do so.  

You can ask Halton Housing to stop using your images at any time, in which case it will not be used in future publications, but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.  

How Long Will You Keep This Data For?  

Your information and photograph will be kept by Halton Housing for a period of two years.  After this time it will be removed from our database. 

If you would like to withdraw your consent for use to use your images, you can do this at any time by contacting communication`s@haltonhousing.co.uk 

What Rights Do I Have When It Comes To My Data?  

Data Protection legislation provides rights for individuals over their data.
