Free children’s sports activities in Ditton this summer
Children in Ditton can attend a number of different sports activity sessions in the area this summer, free of charge!
Working in partnership as part of Halton Housing’s Destination Ditton programme, Halton Borough Council’s Sports Development Team will be delivering a series of engaging sport activities for children throughout July and August including football, karate and dance sessions.
Sessions are free of charge and enable young people (aged between 5 - 11) to try sports, arts and develop life skills.
Frank Myler Pavillion on Liverpool Road in Widnes will play host for the activities and sessions.
Halton Housing’s Destination Ditton programme aims to create lasting improvements, bring communities together, and create opportunities for customers and residents in Ditton.

Fun Football Skills sessions: have fun learning new football skills & drills
Every Wednesday – 4-5pm (age 5-7)
Every Wednesday – 5-6pm (age 8-11)
Street Dance Fitness: have fun, get fit and learn some new dance skills
Every Tuesday- 4- 4.45pm juniors (age 8+)
Every Thursday- 4- 4.45pm infants (age 5-7)
Fit for Stage School: have fun, get fit and get ready to show your skills off on stage
Every Friday 4- 4.45pm infants (age 5-7)
Every Friday 4.45- 5.30pm juniors (age 8+)
Beginners Karate Fitness: learn self-defence/new skills, gain confidence
Earn your first karate belt within 10-weeks. This 10-week course includes karate grading, uniform and licence.
Every Wednesday 4- 4.45pm (age 5+)
Sessions and activities will start the week commencing 19th July.
