With the help of our partners, during recent weeks we’re proud to have provided much-needed help to local residents to guide them through the current cost-of-living crisis.

Through our Keep Warm, Keep Well campaign we’ve been able to support those who are most vulnerable, to have a warm home and provide support to make their budget go further.

As part of the campaign our customer engagement team held 2 drop-in sessions at Kingsway Learning Centre, Widnes and Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn.

Our neighbourhood officers and welfare and disrepair teams were on hand to offer help and support to all those who attended. We were joined by partners Energy Projects Plus, Halton Borough Council (HBC) Health Improvement Team, PlusDane, Age UK and Citizens Advice.

Those attending were given free a Keep Warm Packs which included a pair of gloves, hat, blanket and flask, plus reusable hand warmers and social supermarket vouchers. Free health checks were also provided by the team at HBC.

The Keep Warm, Keep Well campaign is another initiative aimed at helping customers during these challenging times ahead. Our Reach out magazine published earlier this year provides further help, support and useful information to help our customers through the cost-of-living crisis.
