Following the huge success of our Keep Warm, Keep Well campaign last year, the initiative is back for its second year and is supported by Halton Borough Council, AgeUK, Sure Start to later life and Citizens Advice Halton.

The first of two events will take place on Tuesday 15th November at Kingsway Learning Centre, Widnes.

The second event is on Thursday 17th November at Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn.

Both events run from 1-4pm and will provide advice and information to help you to keep warm and healthy in your home during the winter months.

Halton Borough Council will be offering free Health checks and we’ll be giving away free Winter Warmth Packs with gloves; hat; socks; blanket and travel mugs plus reusable hand warmers.

Our Neighbourhood Officers, Customer Engagement teams and Welfare and Disrepair teams will also be on hand to offer any help and support you might need.

The Keep Warm, Keep well campaign is another initiative aimed at helping customers during these challenging times ahead. Our Reach out magazine published earlier this year provides further help, support and useful information to help our customers through the cost of living crisis. You can view Reach Out here or if you would like a printed copy, please ask a member of staff or your Neighbourhood Officer

*Winter warmth packs will be issued on a first come first serve basis so don’t miss out.
