1. Make the Most of Heating Controls
- Turning your thermostat down by just 1°C can reduce heating bills by up to 10%.
- Set a temperature you want to reach don’t set it to max
2. Unplug Devices Not in Use
- Appliances on standby still use power.
- Unplugging chargers, TVs, and kitchen gadgets can make a noticeable difference.
3. Switch to LED Lighting
- LED bulbs use up to 80% less energy and last significantly longer.
- Great for both cost savings and lower environmental impact.
4. Cut Hot Water Costs
- Reduce shower time when possible or consider installing a water‑efficient showerhead.
- Set your hot water cylinder thermostat to 60°C to prevent overheating.
